About Visa
Visitors to Taiwan must obtain a visa or authorization in
advance, unless they come from one of the visa exempt
countries or countries whose nationals are eligible for visa
on arrival. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6
months (except the citizens of Japan who can hold a passport
valid for 3 months, and citizens of United States who are
only required to hold a passport valid for the entire
duration of stay).

Note:
Please note SDGT is not authorized to assist with the VISA
process beyond providing the Notification of Acceptance
Letter and Invitation Letter (after registration) issued by
the SDGT Committee Board. The invitation letter will be
issued after the successful registration. Should your
application be denied, SDGT cannot change the decision of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will SDGT engage in
discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on
behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be
refunded when the VISA application of individual being
denied.
